The Layout

So obviously dp.com's layout has changed. This is one of two designs I've recently been working on and I'm testing it out for a litte while to see how it feels. Excuse any bugs, and don't be shocked if a new design materializes within a couple of days. Or if it doesn't.

Apparently Blogger is soon releasing a new version incorporating some of the features their users have been moving to WordPress or MovableType in seach of: categories, private posts, etc. I'm not terribly excited - part of the reason I've stuck with Blogger for so long is that its barebones approach suits me. It's extremely simple to insert Blogger code into my own web designs, and I'm not sure if I really need the extra bells and whistles. But soon I too will have to move into Beta, so let's hope it doesn't get too complicated.

This morning when I was flipping through the news programs, I saw an ABC report on Dell's laptop battery recall. It's title? CTRL ALT FIRE!

It was followed by a piece on Boy George's court-ordered community service and how he couldn't do it because so many reporters were hounding him. I followed that up by switching to BBC, who, oddly enough, didn't seem to care much about Boy George.
